To celebrate Squishmallows Day 2025, Squishmallows tapped us to create a playful faux OOH teaser to build hype for the big day.

We designed a fake billboard in downtown LA, gradually filling it with Squishmallows until they were pressed against the glass—ready to burst out in a wave of fun. The spot teased fans to mark their calendars for March 7th, promising a day full of surprises, announcements, and all things Squish.

The teaser quickly went viral within the fanbase, sparking excitement and increasing demand around Squishmallows Day 2025 in a big way.

Following the viral teaser, we built the full breakout video where Squishmallows burst out of the faux OOH billboard and began “squishing” through the city—bouncing off buildings, landing near fans, and turning downtown LA into a plush playground.

We handled full 3D compositing, including scene-accurate lighting, reflections, and dynamic simulations to make every Squishmallow feel like it was really falling from above. It was a technically ambitious piece, solved through focused R&D and creative problem-solving.

The client took our cut and integrated it into the official Squishmallows Day graphics package, allowing us to focus on the 3D builds. The result? A joyful, high-impact kickoff to Squishmallows Day 2025 that had fans cheering from the very first bounce.

To close out Squishmallows Day 2025, we wrapped everything up with a recap video celebrating the day’s highlights—fan reactions, giveaways, new plush drops, and all 12 pieces of content we helped bring to life.

Creating and posting same-day is always a challenge, but we rose to the occasion, delivering a feel-good finale that fans adored. Seeing everything come together in one joyful package made a lasting impact—no easy feat in today’s crowded social space.
